Matt Kincaid is husband to a genuine and glorious wife and father to two amazing and beautiful children. Matt's interest in real estate began as a young child, where he observed and experienced his parents frequently purchasing and selling houses. He quickly developed a passion for the industry that continued into adulthood, and for the past ten years, he has been involved in a multitude of housing transactions-as a buyer, seller, and investor. Recently, after an extensive search for a local brokerage, Matt joined the Century 21 Tri-Cities team. He explained, "After visiting other local brokerages, Vicki Monteagudo and her staff stood out to me as the most pleasant, intelligent, and ambitious group of realtors in the greater Tri-Cities area."
In addition to being a licensed realtor, Matt holds an MBA and a Ph.D. from Gonzaga University, and is a professor of business in the Bachelor of Applied Management program at Columbia Basin College. Matt has been rated in the top 10% of instructors every quarter since joining the institution, with several of his evaluations scoring amongst the highest in the college's 50+ year history. He has also been featured in two editions of an undergraduate business textbook, Management, published by Pearson Prentice Hall (2009, 2012). As a guest lecturer, Matt has spent time teaching for Mission Support Alliance (MSA), Lockheed, McDonald's, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Washington-Alaska Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Association of Community and Technical Colleges, and the Hanford Patrol Management team. Matt is also a published author, with articles appearing in various refereed journals, including, The International Journal of Leadership Studies and The International Journal of Servant-Leadership. He also currently reviews articles for one of the foremost research-based leadership journals in the world, The Leadership Quarterly.
Matt's past experience includes leading the efforts of three startup companies, serving on the board of a global nonprofit organization, and working as an innovation consultant for an array of Fortune 500 companies.
